The CEO of Green Corridors, Mitch Carlson, will present on The Green Corridors.  Green Corridors made history in June, when President Donald Trump approved the company’s permit to operate international freight on an autonomous system between Mexico and the United States.  The Green Corridors technology focuses on border security, efficiency, and predictability for shipping companies.  This is a positive development for the workforce and the design is being carefully considered with the truckers and rail lines, whom we rely on for delivery of our goods.  

A second project is planned for the Port of Houston to solve traffic and port efficiency.  Green Corridors works by getting freight up into the air on autonomous guideways and delivering containers and trailer loads at inland terminals, where truckers can schedule and pick up their freight at precise times.

Jacksonville is a prospect on the list of ports where this technology can expand to.
